What's New: Season 25/26 Presets, Tag Match Events, Transfers & Player Status

Done Deals & New Team Templates

After a chaotic summer transfer window, all the major deals are finally done. We've updated our over 3000 team templates for the 2025/26 season, so you'll have the latest squads ready for all your lineup debates.

Tag Match Events Directly on the Lineup

You can now tag players with match events directly in the lineup editor. Goals, assists, cards, injuries, or substitutions, the icons appear right on your image. This is perfect for amateur teams, your 7-a-side squad, or a local club that doesn't have automated match reports.

By combining the starting eleven, formation, and ratings, you can now summarize a whole match in a single image. You can even add a status to players who weren't in the starting lineup to show why they weren't in the squad. All of this will be displayed on the final match sheet.

Visualize Your Transfer Talk

This next feature is a bit quirky, but it makes transfer discussions way easier. For squad planning or just for fun, you can now add special symbols to players on your lineup. Use them for potential departures, possible arrivals, or just as a placeholder if you need to fill a new position but don't have a specific player in mind.

This also makes it a great tool for football trivia. Use the "missing player" marker to create a lineup challenge for your friends on a long away day trip.

Overhauled Player Ratings

We've overhauled the player ratings a bit.

They not only look better, but they also allow for more detailed ratings and are better balanced.

Did you know that the famous and sometimes controversial L'Équipe ratings aren't based on stats?

They are manually created by a panel of journalists after each match. If you've ever been frustrated with ratings that feel completely wrong, now you've got the perfect tool to make your own assessments—just like the pros.

We're still doing a little fine-tuning on these new features, but they're good to go.
